Artist Bio: Artist Bio: The Owen Guns are a hardcore punk band with members from Sydney and the South Coast. Their first release, 'Violating Community Standards', came out in 2020 to rave reviews from their wives and girlfriends and they've been annoying people with their blend of politics, bad taste humour and social commentary ever since.
The next release, 'EP 2 Electric Boogaloo', came out May 21, 2021 on Riot Records and was recorded at Rock the Nation Studios in Newcastle. It's seven tracks of old-school hardcore punk nonsense, including a cover of The Hard-Ons "Just Being with You".
They are preparing to release their first full length 'Dawn of the Braindead' later in 2022. Hold on to your buttholes.
As always with these guys, it's raw and messy with zero f*cks given. Just how punk should be.
