This is the MW series pressure gauge. A Bourdon type pressure gauge.
The pressure gauges of the MW series are available with a below or rear connection. The pressure gauge uses a tubular spring principle, also known as the bourdon principle. They are suitable for clean, non-viscous liquids and gases, such as compressed air or water.
The case diameter is 40, 50 or 63 mm and the accuracy class is 1.6 percent for the steel case and 2.5 percent for the plastic case. This number indicates the maximum positive or negative deviation. The measuring range for the pressure gauges of this series ranges from -1 to 400 bar and the scale varies from 0.02 to 50 bar.
The connection has a thread size of 1/8th or 1/4th inch and is made of brass. Therefore, ensure that your medium is compatible with brass.
As a rule of thumb, choose a pressure gauge where the operating pressure does not exceed 75% of the maximum scale value, for pulsating pressures plus-minus 65%. Do you have pulsating pressures or vibrations? Take a look at our oil-filled gauges. The oil in these pressure gauges dampens the vibrations, indicating an average constant value.
Three reasons why the MW pressure gauge is the perfect product for you:
It is reliable and cost efficient
It is designed according to the EN 837-1 standard
It is available in vacuum versions
