So here are the 5 first five things you should do when downloading Affinity Designer on your iPad:

1. What is Affinity Designer?

Affinity Designer is a vector graphics editor created by Serif. What makes Affinity Designer special is the ability to switch from a vector workflow to a raster workflow with the click of a button, giving you the possibility to use rasterised brushes and retouching.

2. Personas

Personas allow you to quickly switch between the vector, raster, and exporting workflow.

3. Creating Documents and Artboards

You can easily create your documents in Affinity Designer using templates, or you can completely customise your setting. You can also work with multiple artboards.

4. Basic Tools

Affinity Designer has a wide variety of tools that you can use to create your designs. I will give you a complete walk-trough all the tools that you need to know, so you can start creating your own design.

5. Gestures

Gestures are the equivalent of keyboard shortcuts on Affinity designer for the iPad. They allow you to work after and be more efficient while designing.
