Fun Day On Prison Island and Funguni Island

The trip to the Prison Island and Funguni Island just started. I was picked at Forodhani area and we headed off to the island. It was calm on the boat to the Prison island. This took us 20 minutes and when we arrived we headed straight to the reception which i had to pay $15 which is the entry fee for non-residents . We were welcomed by the sweet peacock sounds as we proceeded. We saw the beautiful birds together with the huge tortoises that were all over the place even on the foot paths. I touched a huge tortoise for the first time here and it was a really nice feeling. We then proceeded to the prison restaurant which has a lot of history on Zanzibar and the Prison Island.
That’s all on the Prison Island, We headed back to the boat to start our journey to the Funguni island. This was not as luxurious as it sound coz all my clothes got wet from the boat ride. It started getting bumpy and it worsened as we approached. We passed the waves and made a stylish entrance to the Funguni Island. It was fun and that was a day well spent.
