Weirdest day EVER?! I had VIP access to get inside the stadium early, and it was NUUUUTS, and by the way, YOU are nuts if you don't want to save money when you go to games:

You know what else you should check out? Benji Williams' YouTube channel. He's the guy who made the 1,185-pound rubber band ball, and he's going for the world record:

He's amazing so show him some love and check THIS out -- he posted his own video with me and his rubber band ball:

I have some of my own rubber band ball videos too. Check these out:

I also have a page on my website about my rubber band ball, so in case you still want more, here you go:

But okay, back to the baseball stuff at Chase Field in Phoenix . . .

The Arizona Diamondbacks were playing the Pittsburgh Pirates, and I got a TON of baseballs. I got to play catch with Noé Ramirez (that's when MadBum took notice of my epic knuckleballs) and later on I also threw with Eric Stout. How many home run balls did I grab? I'll let you count them up, but the numbers were truly absurd. Should these balls even count for my collection? It's too late to un-count them but maybe a "rule change" is in order for next season? Hell, MLB recently changed the rules for Shohei Ohtani (and they did it back in 2014 for Buster Posey) so maybe there needs to be a Zack Hample rule in place? Leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Big thanks to my buddy Dakota on the grounds crew for hooking me up with a couple of baseballs. He and I first met in NYC three years ago, so it was great to see him working for a Major League Baseball team in an official capacity. Check out his music here:

Big big BIG thanks to the Diamondbacks security personnel and front office staff for making my time here extra special. They know how to treat people right, and for the record, this was always the case, even before they started hooking me up with credentials. They've always been extremely fan-friendly, so if you get a chance to attend a game at Chase Field, do it!

This video was filmed on August 9, 2022 by "Fenway Chris" (@yonnernyc) and it was edited by . . . ME! How do I find time to edit while traveling almost non-stop and going to games all the time? Yeah, don't ask. Just enjoy and please subscribe if you haven't already.

Next up? Two games at Coors Field where, shall we say, things are not as chill. Buckle up, folks. It's about to get wonky . . .
