Chinna kalaivaanar Vivek was born in kovilpatti and an incredible actor who made us laugh as well as to think about the society.

In 2009, the GOI conferred Vivek the Padma shri award for his contribution to cinema. As a television personality, Vivek hosted a number of events and interviewed media personalities, notably APJ Abdul Kalam. Inspired by Kalam's environmentalism, Vivek founded the Green Kalam initiative in 2010 with the mission of planting one billion trees across TN.

Operation green Kalam is a mission and it is fast reaching and as of now 30.23lakhs plantings were completed, and Actor vivekh has focused to complete this task through Sai Prasanna Foundation.

The vision for green Kalam is to plant 10 Million trees which is 1crore trees in Tamilnadu Once it is successfully done ,The Mission will be extended to other part of India.

We strive to do the same and make his vision come true.
