PS5 Slim Disc Drive Noise Solved On My End

if you are hearing loud noises from the disc drive after you put a game in, check this first before moving on to any other checks to find the issue as this is probably best case scenario for the vibrations

My issue is that the disc drive plate on my PS5 Slim doesn't fit as tightly as it should creating a small gap that allows a bit of movement between the plates and when the disc drive spins, it causes the vibrations, its a small design flaw that doesn't really cause much harm in the long run but it is kind of annoying. You can test this easily by running a disc in the drive with the plate off, and if the vibrations are gone, you have found your problem (I still recommend putting the plate back on to prevent dust and such)

if it still makes the noise after you try this, you might have a more serious problem with the system as this is the best case scenario from hearing vibrations
