It's hard not to fall in love with Eswatini when you wake up literally on top of the world at Off-Track Eswatini!

The rain had cleared so we made the most of the sunshine as we headed out to hike on the imposing granite rock formations that give the area it's distinct look. But as we were soon to discover, this area is also like a shrine to Thor, the Norse God of thunder and lightning!

Eswatini is also small - you probably looking at 150km from border to border - so you get to see so much on your travels, which is exactly what we got to do the next day when we made our way to the Ngwempisi Wilderness area and our home for the next two days.

Jason and Kieren were amazing - so passionate about the area, the people and preserving the land - and the route they took us on to get to Tinus and his campsites at Ngwempisi was exactly what we look for when overlanding - stay off the tar as much as possible!

I honestly hope that this and the next episode will encourage more people make this beautiful country and overlanding destination instead of just a through road between Kruger and KZN!
