Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty

Описание к видео Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty

This procedure video demonstrates an injection technique for nonsurgical rhinoplasty, often for
patients who are not ready to undergo surgery, cannot take time off from work, or cannot afford surgery. The 2 most commonly used fillers are hyaluronic acid (HA) and calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA). The advantage of HA is the ability to dissolve the product with hyaluronidase. The agents can be used to straighten a crooked nose by adding volume to the depression. Dorsal humps can similarly be camouflaged by filling the soft tissue both above and below the hump to straighten the dorsum.
Permanent soft-tissue fillers should be avoided because of the risk of granuloma, uncorrectable irregularities, and the potential for irreversible vascular injury. Use of filler materials in the nose is an off-label use of the products, and the pretreatment consent should include this information.
