What if Revan Awakened During The Phantom Menace & Found Anakin? Let’s explore the depths of it in the video.

Anakin circles the ruins of the Trade Federation flagship. Around him, droid forces falter and his coms are filled with the celebration of his allies as they mop up the remains of the droid forces.

He spots a stray vulture droid away from the main group and prepares to follow after him. It doesn’t get far as Anakin locks on and finishes it. He’s about to rejoin the others, but then feels his ship rock around and then freeze in place.

Glancing at his controls, he realizes a tractor beam is holding him in place. A small sleek ship appears from nowhere and begins to pull him inside the hangar.

Suddenly, the cockpit opens and a figure appears. Anakin feels himself being lifted out of the ship and dropped to the ground where the figure looms over him.

Revan: Are you Anakin Skywalker?

Anakin: I-I am.

Revan removes his helmet and reveals his human face.

Revan: Good, we have much to discuss. Former leader of the Jedi Crusaders. I am here to instruct you in the ways of the Force.

Anakin: But Master Qui-Gon is supposed to train me.

Revan: I’m afraid that Qui-Gon Jin is now one with the Force. I sensed him fall in battle.

Anakin: Shocked. W-what? No that can’t be. Then take me back to the Jedi Temple!

Revan: No, taking you there would be…counterproductive. You’ve seen it yourself. The Jedi have no interest in training you. Qui-Gon is your only hope. Or at least it was.

Anakin: No! Why should I trust you?

Revan: It is a lot to take in, but you must understand, boy. There are dark times ahead. The chaos here is just the beginning. We need the Chosen One now more than ever. I can teach you to become that hero, but only if you let me. Or would you rather go back to the Jedi and their blind dogma?

Anakin knows a little bit about the Force thanks to Qui-Gon and as he takes a deep breath, he can feel a faint tingle of something within himself. From there he can see the incredible power that Revan possesses.

But it isn’t just power. There is wisdom and strength like he’s never seen before. And something unspeakably old, even more ancient than Yoda.

When Anakin opens his eyes, he slowly nods. Revan smiles and sets course to the Outer Rim. Instead of taking Anakin to learn in a temple, he would rather have him learn through the galaxy itself.

Instead, they travel through the Outer Rim where Anakin can learn from experience similar to what Qui-Gon intended. But instead of simply traveling to worlds strong in the Force, Revan also takes Anakin to worlds in turmoil that are torn apart by natural disasters, exploitation, or war.

At first, he has Anakin help the people there with relief efforts, but he takes it a step further and teaches him that they must be proactive to stop this sort of chaos. The problem with the Jeid is that they have become reactionary and only respond to problems when they arise.

Revan shows Anakin that with their powers, they are capable of doing far more than that. When they find a place, he has Anakin study the situation carefully. He observes suffering, tries to understand what causes it, and then solves it. In many cases, it can be traced to issues like corruption or exploitation by corporations.

While the Jedi are strictly neutral, Revan has no such qualms about getting involved or teaching Anakin to meddle in these matters.

The pair are more than happy to take out corrupt politicians and warlords. Their actions are strictly against the Jedi Code as they work through assassinations and intimidation.

However, Revan’s words prove prophetic as the chaos on Naboo is just the start. The chaos and discord only seem to grow in the galaxy as the issue of succession is becoming a serious problem for many worlds.

Talks of militarization and policy change shift across the Republic and disgruntled worlds. For an outside observer, it might seem like a series of actions and reactions, but Revan sees it differently. It is subtle movements of gears slowly turning for a larger machine.

He can immediately tell that something is amiss and knows that the Sith must be pulling the strings. At the center of this chaos is a man named Dooku. Revan sees him meeting with unhappy worlds and wherever he goes, the chaos seems to grow.

This theory leads him to Geonosis. By the time Revan and Anakin arrive, the battle is already underway as countless droids advance across the planet to repel the Jedi and their clone army. Anakin looks over the battlefield and feels the urge to leap after them.

Anakin: We should help them master. The Jedi are not soldiers, much less generals.

Revan: Patience, my student. Remember what I’ve taught you. We have the power to make a difference, but we must find the right time and place for it. Now let us find our mystery count.
