The 2023 Donner Motoclimb was the opening race of the Donner Challenge weekend, which hosted the AMA District 36 Hare Scramble and AMA West Hard Enduro Series, Presented by Beta. Brian Garrahan welcomed the motoclimb community to the Donner Ski Ranch, where these pro and amateur athletes were racing up a 1200'+ long ski hill! It was a very tough hill on the second half, and many didn't make it over. Josh Mouzakis won the King of the Hill and Pro Stock class, where Dylan Martin won the Open and Pro Mod classes. Other notables were Scott Takara and Boogie Rivera from Hawaii, who were the only amateurs over the top with their stock dirt bikes.

This was the first round of the California Motoclimb Series, an all new pro/am motoclimb championship based out of NorCal.
