The Elk Sustainer is an interesting take on the Triangle Big Muff. A PNP transistor type that closely follows a 72’ BMP but with some interesting adjustments, especially in the tone section. It uses such a small capacitor it almost cuts the volume by a third and there’s not much low end present, so instead of using that cap we went with the Hizumitas route and used a size comparable to an original Triangle Muff. Interesting fact, the Hizumitas is more of a 72’ Triangle Muff than an Elk.

For this Elk build we went exact on the build besides the tone cap and found an NPN transistor with the closest spec to the original A733.
