Paint a Calming Lavender Field in Soft Pastel

This mini tutorial was originally filmed for Blick Art Materials and Pastelmat! It was such a pleasure collaborating with them and painting a calming lavender field.

Pastelmat is one of my favorite papers to use! I'm always recommending it to my students as well. The colors are so beautiful and it has such a unique texture that really grips the pigment.
