Speaking exclusively to R&M TV, Balvinder Kumar, Member, UP RERA said that the big challenge before UP RERA is to ensure compliance rather execution of orders which the all three benches of the Authority in Greater Noida have passed. The UP RERA Member said that the Authority is now sending recovery certificates to concerned District Magistrate to ensure recovery so that the amount is refunded to the buyers. Kumar informed that in most of the cases it has been found that builders have not made the refund after the Authority have made an order to do so.

“We have then issued show cause notice and now we are issuing recovery certificates (RCs). We will be sending the RCs to concerned District Magistrates, who will in turn ensure recovery of amount and once the amount is recovered we will disburse back to the concerned buyers, said Kumar.
