Another work around East 149th Street & Third Avenue in The South Bronx, NYC

This is the oldest shopping district in The Bronx and it is a major shopping area in The South Bronx & the conditions should be improving but it is getting worse.

The conditions have been like this off & on for a few years now, there has been talk about improvement but that is just it - talk with no action.

I pass thru this area a few times a week, I would like to see the conditions improve as it is a decent area to shop. There are a few instances where they clean & sweep the streets and clear the but that is short-lived which only last a day or two.
