BMW E70 X5 35D Oil Change (M57)

Today I performed an oil change on my diesel BMW X5 SUV, using FCP Euro's Liqui Moli 5W-30 oil change kit.

I also installed a Fumoto drain valve to be able to remove excess oil more easily and avoid setting off the touchy iDrive sensor. I got my 2011 BMW E70 X5 35D about a month ago, and the oil level has been reading high ever since I got it and I want a Blackstone oil analysis done, so the time seems right.

If you're new to diesel European cars, an oil change may seem like a daunting challenge (since everything else is different) but I assure you, it's just as easy (if not easier) than gasoline engines.
