*Update* If you are also having this problem, check the brake switch. This is apparently a common bug in these cars and will prevent the car from coming on. I had my brake switch replaced and so far it's working fine.

This problem has been happening off and on over a year and no mechanic can figure it out. New car battery... new fob battery. Technicians say "ta-da!" and send me home but it does it again a few days later. Sensitive to differences in temperature. Yes I'm pressing the brake... yes the terminals are tight.
