I release this film at the threshold of a new year —
a quiet offering of presence, reflection, and letting go.

When I learned that the Monks for Peace were walking through Georgia,
my journey began in Fayetteville, continued through Peachtree,
and ended in Morrow.

My reason was simple:
to release the past and become more mindful.

This journey unfolded alongside my son, Sous Chef Peanut,
among a gathering of thousands —
and in the presence of tiny giants walking with immense resolve.

Along the way were wounded bodies that kept moving,
a loyal dog named Aloka walking steadily beside them,
and strangers who spoke of hope, peace, and the possibility
of healing for this country and the world.

This film is not about spectacle.
It is about stillness.
About resilience.
About walking anyway.

I write this reflection at midnight on January 1st —
a moment of transition —
marking a new beginning in my journey toward authenticity,
presence, and the release of old memories that no longer serve me.

Healing does not rush.
It walks.
