Big Bend National Park in Texas is known for its hot and dry climate, but we saw a different side when we visited during January's Arctic blast. It was cold, moody, and gave us a unique perspective of the park.

Camping was chilly, hikes were brisk, and traveling over the border to Boquillas del Carmen was an adventure. Come along as we travel in our van through one of America's most desolate national parks.
