This is a clip of my usual bike commute in Manila along Dr. A. Santos Avenue in Parañaque City. #shorts

Both lanes do have a bike lane. There is a city ordinance designating the outer lane of Sucat Road (Dr. A. Santos Ave.) to Ninoy Aquino Avenue as motorcycle and bicycle lanes, starting October 12, 2020.

The ordinance specifically states that the lane is non-exclusive. Private cars as well as public utility vehicles may also use the lane when loading and unloading passengers at designated areas.

However, motorcycles with displacements under 400cc are required to use the lane. Bigger motorcycles are allowed to use any lane without penalties.

Violators will be covered by the city's 'No Contact Apprehension' system, and will slapped with a P1,000 fine, while bicycle riders will be fined with P500 every time that they will be caught violating the policy.
