This dance came from Cadiz City,

Negros Occidental. During the early

days, the regatones or traveling fish

vendors and lab-aseros (women fish

buyers) would wait for the fishermen.

While waiting, they would tease each

other by performing some dance steps.

The regatones would maneuver their

tuwang-tuwangan (bamboo sticks) with

the paraka (wooden baskets
