Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the Optronics Opti-bright LED Dome Light. The Opti-bright LED Dome Light would be great for your RV or enclosed trailer. The dome light is designed for 12 volt direct current systems. The unit features long lasting LEDs that are great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, burn brighter, and they're much more efficient. You don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments.

The bright white dome light contains a total of 10 diodes or LEDs. On the backside it features a two wire design. You're going to have a black wire and a white wire. Black is for power, white is for ground. These wires measure 16 inches long and they're 16 gauge wiring.

When it comes to the lensing and the housing, we're looking at a polycarbonate construction. It is a recess-mount installation.Your installation hole needs to measure about 16.5 inches long by four inches wide. Taking a look at the overall measurements of the unit, measuring edge to edge going this direction it's going to measure 18 and one quarter inches long. And this direction edge to edge about five and three quarters of an inch wide. I took an overall depth measurement from the very front to the very back and got a measurement of about one and one eighth of an inch.

The depth from the installation surface to the front of the light is only about seven sixteenths to half of an inch deep.You'll see it has multiple mount holes that go around the perimeter of the light, mounting hardware not included. The mount holes going side to side in this direction, these are separated on center by four and three quarter inches. From these holes to these holes center on center is 17 and one eighth of an inch and then these holes are separated by two and three sixteenths of an inch. Thee holes right here measure a half inch long by three sixteenths of an inch wide. These holes are a little bit more elongated.

They measure one and seven sixteenths of an inch long by three sixteenths of an inch wide. Then the lens area, side to side is four inches, side to side this direction is sixteen and a half inches.We're going to go and hook it up to power that way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. Then we'll also be able to turn off our overhead light so you can see it in a lower light setting. Now this light sends out a very bright consistent signal. Multi-diode design really helps optimize the overall light output of the unit. Again, it's going to contain a total of 10 diodes or 10 LEDs. Power draw at 12.8 volts is 1.8 amps. Raw lumen output is 1,100 lumens. Effective lumen output is 880 units and Optronics puts a lifetime warranty on their LEDs.That's going to do it for today's look at the Opti-bright LED Dome Light.
