Inside Moscow Cathedral Mosque

Московская соборная мечеть — главная мечеть Москвы, одна из крупнейших и высочайших мечетей в России и Европе[1]. Первое здание мечети построено в 1904 году, в 2011 году оно было снесено для строительства нового, открытие которого состоялось 23 сентября 2015 года. Мечеть расположена в Мещанском районе в Выползовом переулке у улицы Дурова и Олимпийского проспекта рядом со спортивным комплексом «Олимпийский» и станцией метро “Проспект Мира”.


The Moscow Cathedral Mosque is the main mosque of Moscow, one of the largest and highest mosques in Russia and Europe[1]. The first building of the mosque was built in 1904, in 2011 it was demolished for the construction of a new one, which was opened on September 23, 2015. The mosque is located in the Meshchansky district in Vypolzov lane near Durov street and Olympiysky prospect next to the Olimpiysky sports complex and “Prospekt Mira” metrostation.
