Walking in Little Bavaria - Frankenmuth, MI

Initially, we wanted to visit Frankenmuth, MI, after visiting Dearborn (   • Look around in the Henry Ford Museum ...  ). We thought it would be an excellent spot for a stop when we were traveling to Traverse City (   • Traverse City, MI - Our HQ for our Mi...  ).

However, we spent our whole day in Dearborn, and there was no time for such a stop. We had to return... We came back on the 3rd of August. It was a cloudy and rainy day. It wasn't cold, but it was cloudy all the time and could rain any minute. We were lucky as we strolled through the city. We returned to our car dry.

The city looks welcoming and tidy. We had a great lunch at the Bavarian Inn. If we would plan a round trip next time, I believe we would spend a night here.

After walking around for a couple of hours, it was time to leave, but there was one more place in Frankenmuth that we had to see. That is Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland. More to come on this unique place. 😉
