STRANGER THINGS SEASON ONE VIDEO ESSAY

Stranger Things is one of those shows that comes along and changes television. It came at a time when Netflix was really just reaching the height of its streaming power and this show about kids, monsters and dungeons & dragons quickly became one of the most talked about and iconic shows of it’s time and place. I’m not sure anyone saw where it went from there coming but years later it has developed a massive fan following and has been critically acclaimed by many. It’s considered one of the great shows of our time and personally, it’s near, if not at the top of my all time list. It has heart, horror, action, drama and some of the most iconic 80’s vibes imaginable.

After this years rewatch of Season 1, I decided that I wanted to go through and work on a video essay for each season, talking about why I love it so much. So, here we are, starting with Season One! Journey into the upsides down with me and enjoy the video!

Series Synopsis - In 1980s Indiana, a group of young friends witness supernatural forces and secret government exploits. As they search for answers, the children unravel a series of extraordinary mysteries.
