2024 NHRA US Nationals Jim Marshall Stock Eliminator #1 Qualifier 70th Annual Drag Racing at Indy!

The #1 qualifier at the 40th, 50th, 60th, and now 70th Annual NHRA US Nationals at Indianapolis Lucas Oil Raceway Park has been this infamous 1986 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup Truck! Usually driven and still owned by Larry Hill, this year it was decided that Jim Marshall would take the reigns after swapping out the 6 cylinder engine for a 305ci V-8. This resulted in a run of 12.093 seconds with the index being 14.40 seconds! That is -2.307 under the index which is unheard of! Of course this meant Jim had to go through NHRA teardown. Will he be found legal and keep his crown as #1 qualifier?
