This recording originally aired live on March 24 as part of a series of online programs provided by the UCLA Alumni Association.

Join Diana Winston, director of mindfulness education at UCLA's Mindful Awareness Research Center, for a webinar on mindfulness and how it can be helpful during challenging times.

Mindfulness involves paying attention to your present-moment experiences, and there is scientific evidence showing its positive impact on stress, attention, and mental and physical health. It can even help you deal with difficult emotions and reinforce positive thinking.

During this webinar, you will learn the basics of mindfulness, try some experiential practices and discover how you can apply it to daily life, especially to support you in these times.
