One fine morning, as the sun peeked through the clouds, AumSum felt a strange tingling in his feet. Without warning, his legs sprang up and launched him into the air. Before he could make sense of it, he landed - and then jumped again and again and again.

At first, AumSum thought it was fun. He bounced through the garden, over fences, and even startled a few birds mid-air. But after a few minutes, fun turned into frustration. His breakfast cereal flew everywhere. His toothbrush hit the ceiling. Even wearing socks became an Olympic event.

In the kitchen, every bounce sent plates rattling and glasses tipping. AumSum tried to hold onto the table, but his knees had other plans. His books lay scattered, and homework looked like a mountain he could never land on.

Outside, things weren’t any easier. Trees became obstacles, wires became traps, and roads turned into launchpads. AumSum zoomed past startled neighbors and flew over cars, all while trying not to crash into anything. A trip to the park ended with a splash when he bounced straight into the pond. Ducks scattered, and AumSum came out dripping but still hopping.

As the day went on, his legs grew tired, but they wouldn’t stop. Muscles ached, shoes wore out, and his brain begged for a break. He longed to sit, lie down, or even stand still, but gravity and stillness had vanished from his life.

The worst part? Sleep. Every time he closed his eyes, his legs bounced him right off the bed. Pillows flew, blankets tangled, and the poor mattress gave up. AumSum tried tying himself down with jump ropes, but even those snapped under the force.

As the stars sparkled above and AumSum bounced under the moonlight, he realized that while jumping could be fun, doing it forever was exhausting.
