One of the best movies ever made, no matter the genre! Until recently I had forgotten there was this little scene which is total late 80's early 90's "mall culture". It was the place to hang-out man! Especially if you were a teen boy and they had an arcade.

It's cool that they picked "Missile Command" - even though it was from 1980 and might look "primitive", it was the quintessential apocalyptic videogame. Fits like a glove with the nuclear bomb themes of T2. Terrifying videogame... as when all your cities are destroyed, the entire screen lights up with "The End" specifically... not just "Game Over." It's a masterstroke.

The second major game gives it the more "modern" arcade feel, with a sit-down cockpit-style version of "After Burner" by SEGA. These really were the types of things that you could never replicate at home... even if by 1991 you could play this on your Sega Genesis.
