This doesn't happen very often here. So when it does, you gotta take a video. It's snowing in Beijing. I thought we had snow last year, but apparently we didn't. That was two years ago in 2023 that it last snowed bigly here in the capital. This is something that doesn't happen very often.

For people who were here before the 2008 Olympics, they say that Beijing used to get a lot more snow.

But since the city has grown so much and uh, not just expanded, but there's a lot more high rises and a lot more people in general, the city doesn't get as much snow.

Not only that, when it does snow, it tends to disappear very quickly. So this is one of those times where if you're in the capital and you want some very good pictures, you can try to head out to the Great Wall or head out to the hutongs because it's only gonna last possibly for a day or two, but, now that I've said it, who knows? Maybe it's here to stay for a lot longer. How's the weather where you are? Hope you're well.
