 I had recently picked up a sonnax shift kit for the 48RE transmission found in the 2006 ram 3500 upgraded ceiling rings were still having a problem with the sealing rings leaking even after installing the upgraded ones from the sonnax shift kit they are leaking on the air check which can lead to a burnt second clutch and burned up converter . the shift kit sealing rings are known to actually have problems as well, so somnax came up with the super servo kit part number (22301b-01k) which uses a different combination of sealing , rings and O-rings, and after air checking the accumulator and piston, there are no leaks I think finally I have found the fix that is a 100% fix with this upgrade . So anyone with this 48 RE transmission found in these these dodge trucks. This is a must upgrade for your truck. If you don’t have any problems with ur trans warming up and slipping in second or if ur starting to have some issues this may be what u need
