An Advanced learner loan is a government loan for individuals who are aged 19 or over and want to achieve a qualification at level 3 or above.

An advanced learner loan allows you to complete your studies without any initial payment.

The cost of the course is paid for partially or fully via the advanced learner loan.
 
Advanced Learner Loans are available for a variety of qualifications.

The Level 3 Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Personal Training incorporates the Level 2 certificate in fitness instructing and the Level 3 certificate in personal training into one level 3 diploma making it eligible for an advanced learner loan.

This is ideal for those individuals who do not hold a level 2 qualification and want to become a level 3 personal trainer using the loan facility.

The Level 3 Diploma in Health and fitness is a larger diploma that allows you to complete a wider range of level 2 and level 3 provision in one loan.

At the moment you can apply for up to 4 loans simultaneously.

Repayments start from the April after you complete your training if you are earning over £21,000 a year.

Where you earn less than £21,000 per year you will not be liable for repayment at that time.

Any repayment would be deducted automatically from your wage slip by HMRC at a rate of 9% of everything earnt over the £21,000 threshold.

For example, if you were earning £25,000 a year, you would be £4000 over the threshold, 9% of £4000 equates to £360 a year or £30 a month.

Full or partial re-payments can be made at any time without additional charges.

The first stage requires you to contact CMS Fitness Courses so we can check your eligibility, discuss which courses are most appropriate for you and complete the required application form.

The second stage will require you to apply for the loan online using the loan information letter provided by CMS.

Within a few weeks you will receive a letter from Student Finance England confirming your loan approval.

On receipt of the loan approval letter CMS will be able to issue your learning resources and support you towards your career goals.
