Great Nicobar Development Plan | Andaman and Nicobar Island | News and Views | UPSC

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are a cluster of about 836 islands in the Bay of Bengal. The clusters comprise two island groups, the Andaman Islands and the Nicobar Islands, separated by the 150-km wide Ten Degree Channel. Great Nicobar Island (GNI) is the southernmost and largest of the Nicobar Islands and is located north of Sumatra island of Indonesia. Watch the full video for the complete overview.
