Around 15,000 Tibetans across Europe recently gathered in Zurich to offer a Long-life prayer to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, following a similar ceremony in New York City attended by about 17,000 Tibetans from North America. These events took place before His Holiness returned to India after undergoing knee surgery in the United States. Kunleng host Tsering Kyi invites Thinley Chukki, Representative of the Office of Tibet in Geneva, to discuss her statement at the Long-Life Prayer offering and the significance and impact of the large Tibetan gathering.
