This video toolbox is designed for you to learn how you can plan and implement transcultural dance classes for diverse groups of participants, using ritual dance pedagogy with live music.

The presented methodology was developed throughout the project “The Art to Dance Community – An African Way of European Inclusion”. The methodology is a result of the exchange of good practice and thus years of work and research by the participating
organisations from Germany, Portugal, France and North Macedonia.

WHAT IS RITUAL DANCE PEDAGOGY?
Ritual Dance Pedagogy — the Art to Dance Community — combines animist–indigenous traditions with dance therapy and Gestalt therapy.
We see dance as an empowering, community-building ritual for everyone involved. Each time, the experience takes a different shape — and yet it follows energetic principles that you can learn.
Tradition for Today!
This gives rise to a new professional path: that of the Ritual Dance Pedagogue, who embraces the social challenge of establishing a diverse perspective on the body and dance culture.
