Take your freedom of choice seriously | Dorsa Derakhshani | TEDxYouth@München

Dorsa is an Iranian born chess Grand Master, playing for the USA since 2017. She was born 1998 and has been playing chess for 16 years. She has won the Asian Youth Chess championship three times. With her work she hopes to inspire more people, especially the younger generation, to pursue “freedom of choice”. In her talk at our TEDxYouth@München she emphasizes our ability to make a difference in the world with the choices that we make.

Dorsa ist eine im Iran geborene Schach Grand Master, die seit 2017 für die USA spielt. Sie ist 1998 geboren und spielt seit 16 Jahren Schach. Derzeit spielt sie für das Schachteam der Universität Saint Louis und studiert Biologie. Sie hofft mit ihrem Tun mehr Menschen, insbesondere Jugendliche, für die „freedom of choice“ zu begeistern. In ihrem Talk bei unserer TEDxYouth@München hebt sie unsere Fähigkeit hervor, mit den Entscheidungen, die wir treffen, einen Unterschied in der Welt zu machen.
