Transformers: Age of Extinction is a 2014
American science fiction action film based on the Transformersfranchise. It is the fourth installment of the live-action Transformers film series, the first film in the sequel trilogy and the stand-alone sequel to 2011's Dark of the Moon, taking place five years after its events. Like its predecessors, it was directed by Michael Bay and written by Ehren Kruger, with Steven Spielberg and Bay as executive producers. It stars Mark Wahlberg. It is the first film in the series to feature a new cast of human characters and many new Transformers, including the Dinobots. The film was released on June 27, 2014, in IMAX and 3D.

Film description: after the events of transformers dark of the moon in the Chicago war, the Autobots are now on the run in hiding being hunted by a secret military operation, Cade finds a mysterious truck who so happens to be optimus prime stuck in cryo sleep rusting away, Cade helps optimus get back to he’s Autobots and solve the case of the sudden autobot assassination, discovering the powers at play and the threat that is coming to humanity, optimus prime learns to forgive humans and defend the planet one more time before he leaves earth to confront he’s creators
