How to Fix No Sound issue on PC using PS4 Controller (Windows 10/11)

If you’re experiencing no sound on your PC when using a PS4 controller, the issue is often related to the controller's built-in audio device being prioritized over your preferred audio output. Here's how to fix it:

Step 1: Check Audio Output Settings
Right-click the Speaker icon in the taskbar (bottom-right corner) and select Sounds or Open Sound Settings.

Under Output, ensure the correct audio device (e.g., your speakers or headphones) is selected.
If the PS4 controller is selected as the default output, switch to your preferred device.

Step 2: Disable the PS4 Controller Audio Device
Right-click the Speaker icon and select Sounds.
Go to the Playback tab.

Look for Wireless Controller or Headphones (Wireless Controller) in the list.
Right-click on it and select Disable.
Click Apply and OK.

Step 3: Reconnect the Controller
Disconnect your PS4 controller from the PC (if connected via USB or Bluetooth).

Reconnect the controller and check if the audio issue persists.

Step 4: Update Audio Drivers
Open Device Manager:
Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
Expand Sound, video, and game controllers.
Right-click your main audio device and select Update Driver.
Follow the prompts to update.
