Tire decals are the latest touch to customized wheel and tire setups. Everybody from track stars, street racers, and drift pilots are decorating tire sidewalls with stickers, 3D lettering, and high contrast rubberized decals to show off. But just like old-school whitewalls, high contrast lettering can be difficult to keep clean.

Today, Jen shows us how to carefully clean and dress custom tire decals without smearing any extra dirt or grime on the white letters.

Clean off white lettering and whitewalls with some Nonsense All Purpose Cleaner. The colorless and odorless supercleaner leaves behind no residues and will not stain sensitive colors like white letters or whitewalls.

Normal tire dressings are best spread with a foam applicator pad, but they can smear any missed dirt or road grime all over white letters.

Instead, give the areas around the tire decals a spray of an aerosol tire dressing like Chemical Guys Nice & Wet Tire Shine. Nice & Wet restores a bright wet shine to tires, plastic bumper trim, and rubber moldings and seals around windows and windshields. Mist the foamy spray over the part, let it sit to dry, or buff off any excess residue to coat to preferred level of shine.
