New era here, 100 million years have passed and evolution really changed the animals we used to know. This is the last era where we try to keep the name of taxons of families even if you know it already can't be very accurate. Ecosystems have changed too, oceans are bigger, forests look they come from another planet and the deserts look even more hostiles, but animals continue their perpetual evolution to adapt to these new ecosystems.
