Champion Road, the single player campaign of Super Fire Pro Wrestling Special penned by Suda51, has two main junctures during its first chapter: Choosing Sumisu's rival, and choosing his promotion. These two branches don't actually intersect, so all story content in the game can be seen through the course of three playthroughs which is how this translation is presented. In this playthrough, the rival is The Spike (Sting) and the promotion is View Japan Pro Wrestling (New Japan Pro Wrestling).
