Please join us in congratulating and giving a warm welcome to the graduates of the Upper Peninsula Daniel Lesatz Officer Recruit Training Academy.
In a part virtual graduation ceremony held on November 12, 2020, 31 new officers were welcomed to the Michigan Department of Corrections.
Class namesake and retired Warden Daniel Lesatz addressed the class, which remained masked and socially distanced, while their families and friends tuned in to watch the ceremony.
