2003 Honda VTR1000 SP2 RC51 Rebuild *MY DREAM BIKE*

During the pandemic in 2020, I was presented with the opportunity to buy my dream bike, a VTR1000 SP2. I jumped at the chance and bought it sight unseen (it was located up country) immediately with the knowledge that the 2nd and 3rd gears do not work and that the chain slider on the swingarm is missing. 6 months later, restrictions lifted enough that I could make the trip up country to go and collect it. Once I got it home, work started on it. There was a lot of new parts to be ordered from Honda, and a lot of things that needed fixing as new parts were unobtainable or hellishly expensive. After about three years of on and off work, she is now finally done and back on the road, and I could not be happier!
