08/01/2025 – More wintry showers possible – Afternoon Weather Forecast UK – Met Office Weather

Northern and western Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland continue to see snow and sleet arriving from the north, with accumulations especially in upland areas. Clearer and dry across much of Wales, the Midlands and northern England, feeling particularly crisp in the cold. A band of rain will affect the south of England, which may turn to snow and sleet in isolated upland areas. A yellow snow and ice warning is in effect for northern and western Scotland and Northern Ireland, a yellow ice warning is also out for northern England and Wales, and a yellow snow warning is currently out for the south. - This is the Met Office UK Weather forecast for the afternoon of 08/01/2025.
