So... I heard this song a little while back and wanted to make an edit to it. I figured it would be quite easy to edit but actually, this edit was impossible and I'm still not that satisfied with it... but here you go, anyway.


A lot of people erase canon queer couples by calling them 'friends', 'sisters', etc. This has happened to many of the ships in this video.


However, by making this, and talking about the erasure these couples have faced, I'm absolutely not devaluing friendship or non-romantic relationships. People who experience attraction differently, don't want relationships, are in queer-platonic relationships, etc, etc, face even more erasure than queer people who fully experience romantic and sexual attraction. Not to mention that relationships which aren't romantic can absolutely involve kissing, handholding, cuddling, sex, etc, etc. However, when non-queer people erase canon couples like these ones, they're calling them 'friends' not because they think that friends can do those things, but because they want to erase queer rep. That's what I'm challenging here!!
