3-5-2 + 5-3-2 Soccer Formations: Positions + Movement Explained

For a formation to put the most prepared team under pressure, go with a 3-5-2/5-3-2. With this system, you have three central defenders, two strikers and, two wide wingbacks, plus three central midfielders. This will put pressure on teams with a 4-3-3 and a 4-4-2.

For this formation to work, you need to have two great wingbacks that have the energy to cover the length of the field.
