Sun is the major source of energy on earth. So we all know that life can exist on earth as long as sun exists. Sun will be remain bright for another 8 billion years. But if we think that we have 8 more billion years, then we are wrong. Life on earth will cease to exist long time before that. what is the reason for that, let us find out in this video.

നമ്മുടെ ഭൂമിയിലെ എല്ലാ തരത്തിലുള്ള ഊർജവും ഒരു തരത്തിൽ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മറ്റൊരു തരത്തിൽ സൂര്യനിൽ നിന്നും കിട്ടുന്നതാണ്.. എല്ലാ ജീവികളും ജീവൻ നിലനിര്ത്താന് വേണ്ടി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാ ഊർജ്ജത്തിന്റെയും ഉറവിടം നേരിട്ടോ അല്ലാതെയോ സൂര്യൻ തന്നെ ആണ്.
അപ്പോൾ ഒരു കാര്യം തീർച്ചയാണ് , സ്വഭാവികമായും സൂര്യൻ ഉള്ളിടത്തോളം കാലം മാത്രമേ ഭൂമിയിൽ ജീവൻ നിലനിൽക്കു
നമ്മുടെ സൂര്യൻ പൂർണമായും ജ്വലിച്ചു തീരാൻ ഇനിയും എട്ടോ പത്തോ ബില്യൺ കൊല്ലങ്ങൾ എടുക്കും. അങ്ങനെ ആണെങ്കിൽ അടുത്ത ഒരു എട്ടു ബില്യൺ കൊല്ലത്തേക്ക് നമ്മുടെ സൂര്യനെ കുറിച്ച് നാം ചിന്തിക്കണ്ട എന്ന് വിചാരിച്ചാൽ , നമുക്ക് തെറ്റി.
ഉദ്ദേശം ഒരു അഞ്ചു ബില്യൺ കൊല്ലം കഴിയുമ്പോളേക്കും തന്നെ നമ്മുടെ സൂര്യൻ ഒരു red Giant, ചുവന്ന ഭീമൻ ആയി വളർന്നു കഴിയും. ഈ ഒരു അവസരത്തിൽ സൂര്യൻ ഒരു പാട് വലിപ്പം വെച്ച് ഒരു പക്ഷെ ഭൂമി സൂര്യന്റെ അകത്തു ആയി പോകുന്ന ഒരു അവസ്ഥ വരും. തീർച്ചയായും അപ്പോളേക്കും ഭൂമിയിലെ മണ്ണും പാറകളും ഉരുകി ലാവാ ആയി മാറിയിട്ടുണ്ടാകും. ഭൂമി കുറേശെ കുറേശെ ആയി സൂര്യനിൽ ലയിക്കും.
എന്നാലും ഒരു അഞ്ചു ബില്യൺ കൊല്ലം കൂടെ നമുക്ക് ഉണ്ടല്ലോ എന്ന് കരുതിയാൽ, അപ്പോഴും നമുക്ക് തെറ്റി
അതിനേക്കാളും ഒക്കെ ഒരുപാട് മുൻപ് തന്നെ ഭൂമിയിലെ ജീവൻ 100 ശതമാനവും നശിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടാകും. അത് എന്ത് കൊണ്ടാണെന്നു നമുക്ക് ഈ വീഡിയോ വഴി കണ്ടു നോക്കാം.
