After listening to so much City Pop music lately, I had to make a beat from it. In this video we are taking it back to the classic techniques, and making a sample beat using a classic machine: the MPC 1000.

For this beat, I used the MPC 1000 as the standalone tool to flip the samples, including drums, melodies, and bass. I'll also show you some sampling techniques that you can use to create your own beats.
