Unboxing the Warm Audio EQP-WA Tube Equalizer

In this video we will be unboxing the Warm Audio EQP-WA Tube-based Equalizer. This is based on the classic 1950s Pultec EQP-1A; an equalizer that you'll find in nearly every recording studio. I've recently upgraded my setup from a Yeti USB microphone to an XLR setup, and this is another piece of equipment to accomodate that. With an XLR setup you will usually have the following components, the ADC/Audio Interface, pre-amp, equalizer, compressor, and of course microphone. Most mixers will have most of this built in, but I prefer dedicated outboard equipment. I will be using this in conjunction with my Warm Audio WA12 MKII Pre-Amp. This features CineMag USA transformers, just like my preamp. This EQ is a parametric based EQ that features 2 Tung-Sol tubes, the 12AX7 and 12AU7 which are socketed. This unit costs $700.00.
