How to reduce the gain without sounding (much) quieter!

There's a big difference between just measuring loud, and actually sounding loud. In this video I show several different strategies to achieve a louder-sounding master that DON'T involve simply increasing the gain, and achieve a better, more balanced-sounding result, with less compression and limiting.
